I have a follower!!

I am SO EXCITED! I have a follower! I went and checked out her web site...talk about BLOG CANDY, she has a LOT of that! Shabby chic deluxe and girlie girl stuff, my fav!
My last home was decorated all in the shabby chic style, as I love girlie girl stuff! Oh, how I love my shabby chic stuff. I've changed my decor as I now live in the country but kept all my shabby chic pretties, packed away for my dream. My dream is to eventually buy an old house and move it here on my 10 acres.
I want to put it at the front of my property as our house sits smack dab in the middle of the ten acres. I want it to be my studio and have an open house, one weekend a month to sell my designs. I will look for pictures of my old home that was designed in shabby chic. I remember years ago when I first started decorating in shabby chic, My Friends and Family would just die when I painted antique furniture white. One of my big armories that I painted white years ago is now painted black, there was no way that was going to be stored in the garage. It's just as pretty black as it was, when it was painted white. If you love girlie girl stuff, click the link of my one and only follower as you will be in heaven! I'm going to leave you with a quote:
"count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence."

I'm SO excited! I have stuff to add to my blog! Ok, first one. My parents came down this weekend to see our new house. I was asking my Mother about landscaping design as I know nothing about designing on the outside, there was a horse troth left here. I was going to throw it away, and my Mother said, I should use it in the landscape design. I thought that was awesome since, I now live in the country. So... this is what my post is about. Idea's...Idea's... What would you plant in this horse troth?

COLD IN TEXAS!

Well...It's finally cold in Texas. In San Antonio we buy our Christmas tree's in shorts. I love the cold weather, it gives me energy and boy do I need energy! I'm a City girl to the core but we bought our dream place about three months ago in the country. Yes, I live in the country! I love it! We bought ten acres and plan on building a bigger house in a couple of years. I'm surrounded by cows! I MOO at them all the time, they just look at me like I'm crazy. I have never been around cows before. The view is just breath taking here. When I figure out how to add pictures to my blog, I will put some pictures up. I'm off to work on some design projects, I just wanted to put some words on my blog as I hear that's what I need to get people to come. LOL...Do you see me? Have an awesome day everyone!
